Jakarta, Aug. 13 -- The National Archives of Indonesia (ANRI) announced that five documentary heritages, registered in UNESCO's Memory of the World (MoW) program, can serve as references for the Indonesian government in formulating policies.
"The information contained in these documentary heritages can be utilized by the public for the development of science, as research sources, and even as a reference for the government in making policies," ANRI Head Mego Pinandito remarked here on Wednesday.
Pinandito stated that the successful registration of Indonesia's documentary heritage in the MoW marks the country's effort to preserve, protect, improve access to, and share these works with the international community.
