Denpasar, Bali, Oct. 7 -- A fertility treatment center is set to open in the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Denpasar, Bali, reinforcing the island's position as a world-class destination for health and wellness tourism.

"This marks a major milestone in the transformation of Indonesia's health tourism sector," said President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN) Christine Hutabarat during a press event in Denpasar on Tuesday.

In its initial phase, the center will be developed through a partnership between HIN - a state-owned enterprise and the designated developer and operator of the Sanur SEZ - and a Malaysian fertility clinic network, which has signed a land lease agreement for the project.
