Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Indonesia's national farmers' terms of trade rose 1.05 percent in August from July to 129.19, Statistics Indonesia said, signaling stronger growth in prices received than paid by farmers.

The index of prices received by farmers rose 1.14 percent to 165.66, while the index of prices paid increased 0.09 percent to 128.24, BPS said on Tuesday.

Higher prices for unhusked rice, crude palm oil, rubber and broiler chickens contributed most to the increase in prices received by farmers, BPS said.

Higher prices for broiler chicken meat, rice, long beans and green beans contributed most to the increase in prices paid by farmers.
