Jakarta, Aug. 22 -- The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, has identified the food and beverage (F&B) industry as a key driver of job creation in Indonesia.
"The sector grew by 5.8 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, making it a major absorber of the Indonesian workforce," the minister said here, Friday.
To support this and other industries, the ministry has developed strategic initiatives, including vocational training with a modern curriculum that focuses on green and digital skills.
They are also establishing "Talent Hubs" and "Innovation Hubs" to foster collaboration between industry, academia, and the government.
