Jakarta, Feb. 28 -- Minister of Culture Fadli Zon proposed several bilateral programs related to culture for Indonesia and Uruguay, as diplomatic relations between the two countries approach 60 years.
"We warmly welcome bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Uruguay, particularly in the field of culture. As a follow-up, we can initiate a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for various important cooperation," he stated in a press statement on Saturday.
He proposed programs aimed at promoting the cultural identity of both countries, such as organizing art exhibitions, enhancing museum cooperation, and facilitating artist exchanges.
