Samarinda, Oct. 3 -- The East Kalimantan Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Service is aligning the investment potential in the renewable energy (NRE) power generation sector to formulate actions to increase productivity and sustainability.

An official of the ESDM Service, Elly Luchritia Nota, said in Samarinda on Friday that her office is bringing together stakeholders to coordinate efforts and map out both the potential and challenges of renewable energy investment in the province.

"Particularly for solar power plants, hydropower plants, and biomethane, development can be significantly accelerated," she said.
