Surabaya, East Java, Oct. 4 -- East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and US Consul General in Surabaya Chris Green discussed opportunities for cooperation in education, health, and investment during a meeting in Surabaya on Friday.

"For education, we already have two MoUs. The first is between Brawijaya University and the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC)," Parawansa said in a statement on Saturday.

The second MoU involves Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and Arizona State University.

Under the agreement, Arizona professors will teach application design and information technology at ITS, while ITS professors will be sent to Arizona.
