Jakarta, Feb. 24 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria has urged digital platforms to establish fair cooperation with news publishers regarding the use of journalistic content in artificial intelligence-based search engine features.

He said AI-generated summary features, or AI Overview, in search engines are capable of compiling, summarizing, and simplifying various sources, making it easier for the public to access information.

However, he noted that these features have also disrupted the media industry.
