Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Deputy Minister (Wamen) of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Veronica Tan encourages the public to use the Free Health Check (CKG) facility for early disease detection and improved health quality.

"Let's Indonesian people, let's come to the Puskesmas to be able to get a free health check. This is a state gift for the community. Check your health, once a year. Don't be afraid," said Veronica Tan at Penjaringan Puskesmas, North Jakarta, Monday.

She also asked women not to hesitate to undergo the IVA test and DNA HPV test in CKG, whose aim is to detect cervical cancer.

"For women, to (undergo) IVA test, it is not a taboo. Because prevention is better than treatment," Veronica Tan said.
