Jakarta, May 1 -- Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman said he is confident that President Prabowo Subianto will respond to workers' aspirations during Indonesia's May Day rally in Jakarta on Friday, signaling the government's openness to labor dialogue.

"I am confident the President will respond to what is conveyed. Indonesians uphold morality, unity and the nation's core values," Dudung said, expressing expectations for constructive engagement between workers and authorities.
