Indonesia, April 16 -- Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto lauded the "Lestari" category Climate Village in Jambon Gesikan Village, Cacaban, Magelang City, Central Java, during his visit.

During the visit on Thursday, he observed the climate village, which he described as clean, orderly, and green, with ornamental and medicinal plants neatly arranged along roads, residential areas, and village corners.

He reviewed organic waste management using maggots and its processed products, and observed residents producing laundry soap from used cooking oil.
