Jakarta, June 15 -- Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara has pledged to uphold transparency in data on investment records as part of efforts to build investor confidence in the country's prospects.

Danantara Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria conveyed the statement in response to a directive from President Prabowo Subianto to strengthen public awareness of Indonesia's improving investment climate.

"The president has emphasized the importance of ensuring information disclosure. We have received a stern instruction to transparently convey all investment achievements and data to the public," he said, as quoted from a statement here on Monday.
