Danantara export arm DSI posts US$12 billion in forex: Minister
Semarang, July 27 -- Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) accumulated US$12 billion in foreign exchange during the June-July 2026 period, according to Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan.
"The figure rose from around US$3 billion to US$12 billion in one month," he remarked in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday.
Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara established DSI last May as a state-owned enterprise tasked with managing exports of strategic commodities, notably coal, ferroalloys, and crude palm oil (CPO).
Hasan noted that DSI was designed to operate as a one-stop channel for natural resources outflowing overseas, a move largely intended to curb illicit practices.
