Jakarta, Aug. 22 -- Indonesia's Minister of Culture Fadli Zon has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the country's fine arts ecosystem through a range of strategic and inclusive programs.
One of the flagship initiatives is the Dana Indonesiana program, which now includes learning opportunities with art masters.
Zon said on Friday that art competitions must be reinvented with meaningful prizes to stimulate creativity among artists.
"Texts and documentation are a crucial part of art history. I want a systematic effort to produce books that record the timeline of our art history, so it continues," he stated.
