Jakarta, Aug. 17 -- Adults and children enthusiastically took part in various games held during the Pesta Rakyat (People's Festival) organized by the Jakarta Provincial Government at the National Monument (Monas) here on Sunday.

According to ANTARA's observation at the location, games were held across all corners of Monas, including tug-of-war, cracker-eating contest, make-up competition, cup-blowing game, lomba enggrang or stilts race, sack race, panjat pinang or pole climbing contest, and many others.

The games were organized by an event organizer appointed by Monas and were open to the public free of charge.
