Jakarta, June 30 -- Indonesian Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya said the ministry's flagship programs are designed to accelerate the growth of the creative economy and increase its contribution to the country's gross domestic product (GDP).

He said the ministry's key initiatives - Creative Village Activation, Creative Hubs, and Creative by Indonesia - are intended to help local creative businesses expand into national and international markets.

"We also have substantial opportunities in regional markets. Therefore, we hope that all 17 creative economy subsectors, and eventually 21 subsectors, will continue to grow in the coming years," Harsya said during the 2026 Economic Census for the Creative Economy Sector event in Jaka...
