Jakarta, July 21 -- Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Wang Lutong said Beijing respects Jakarta's decision to centralize strategic commodity exports through state-owned DSI, while urging policy stability to protect market confidence and bilateral trade.

"We understand Indonesia's efforts to optimize the management of its strategic resources and enhance resource utilization in light of its national development needs," Wang stated in a written interview with ANTARA news agency.
