Kairo, May 13 -- The Global South Media and Think Tank Forum Chinese-Arab Partnership Conference opened on Tuesday at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.

Held under the theme "Pooling Wisdom, Embarking on a New Journey: Jointly Building a China-Arab Community with a Shared Future," the two-day forum brought together around 250 representatives from more than 110 media outlets, think tanks, government institutions, enterprises, and international organizations from China and Arab countries.

In his opening remarks, Ahmed Aboul Gheit said countries in the Global South are facing a broad range of challenges.
