Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto affirmed that Indonesia has adequate financial capability to fund disaster response, thanks to budget efficiency policies implemented across ministries and agencies, reducing wasteful use of the state budget.

Speaking at the Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday, he highlighted that the budget efficiency policy was started early in his administration and has successfully saved hundreds of trillions of rupiah.

He reiterated that the budget for disaster management has been prepared because the nation's funds are in a secure condition.

With its fiscal capability, the government is moving swiftly in distributing aid to the disaster-hit regions.
