Jakarta, Aug. 8 -- The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has stressed the importance of character building in the Flag Hoisting Troops (Paskibraka) education for the 81st Indonesian Independence Day.

Deputy Head of BPIP Rima Agristina said Paskibraka strengthening is carried out every year through two activities, namely active learning and training.

"Every year, there are two types of activities carried out to strengthen Paskibraka, which are active learning and training," Agristina said while reviewing joint Paskibraka training here on Saturday.

She explained that before entering the training stage, Paskibraka candidates undergo experience-based active learning.
