Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- The Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency (BP Taskin) is preparing a social impact investment scheme to support local economic development in disaster-affected regions.
BP Taskin Head Budiman Sudjatmiko said on Wednesday that the model has been tested in Cirebon and its surrounding areas, involving the reorganization of 500 hectares of farmland owned by local farmers into an integrated economic ecosystem.
The initiative covers production, warehousing, and distribution processes for agricultural products.
The agency aims to implement the investment model in disaster-hit regions so that recovery efforts not only address short-term losses but also create long-term economic opportunities for local communities.
