Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 3 -- The Bali Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) found the body of a 44-year-old Polish citizen, Marcin Dawid, who was swept away by currents at Tembles Beach in Jembrana District, Bali.

"We received information from our colleagues at Air Kuning Beach that a body had been found on the shore of Air Kuning Beach," Coordinator of the Jembrana Search and Rescue (SAR) Post Dewa Hendri Gunawan said in a statement on Thursday.

The victim's body was found by local residents at around 5:20 p.m. local time on Wednesday (September 2).

According to Gunawan, the body was found approximately 7.5 kilometers west of the location where the incident occurred.

Witnesses then reported the discovery to the local police, he added.
