Jakarta, May 1 -- The National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) urged the youth to become agents of change in the digital space, urging them to produce positive and inspiring counter-narratives.

"We are fully committed to supporting every innovative step taken by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs," BNPT Chief Eddy Hartono said when contacted in Jakarta on Friday.

He underscored that all stakeholders must collaborate to nurture young creative communities, as they are the most vulnerable to radical infiltration through social media and digital platforms.

In this regard, he emphasized that early prevention through enhanced digital literacy is vital.
