Kupang, Aug. 27 -- National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Chief Suharyanto emphasized the importance of all districts and cities across Indonesia raising well-stocked logistics warehouses to enable the immediate distribution of relief in the event of a disaster.

"We suggest that every single district and city has logistics, ensuring ready-to-use buffer stocks. This way, we can swiftly provide initial aid to disaster-affected residents," he said in a statement cited in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Thursday.
