Jakarta, Dec. 12 -- National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Dadan Hindayana vowed stricter standards for food distribution under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program after a delivery car crashed into a school in North Jakarta on Thursday (December 11).
In a statement cited here on Friday, he highlighted that the vehicle involved was driven by a substitute driver when it struck Kalibaru 01 Public Elementary School, which has been a beneficiary of the MBG program since March 24, 2025.
"We have confirmed that the driver involved holds a valid license, though he may lack experience. Our agency is still investigating the cause of the incident," Hindayana pointed out.
