Jakarta, March 20 -- Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana has issued an instruction mandating a circular economy approach to waste management in the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program to maintain public health and environmental sustainability.
Speaking in Jakarta on Friday, he said MBG kitchens, officially called nutrition fulfillment service units (SPPG), are required to implement the circular economy concept comprehensively across program processes, encompassing planning, execution, supervision, and reporting.
