Jakarta, April 20 -- The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has established an optimization team to improve the distribution of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, ensuring it is better targeted in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directive.

BGN Deputy Head Nanik Sudaryati Deyang said in a statement posted on her official Instagram account and quoted on Monday that the team was formed following a series of unannounced inspections and reviews at several schools and Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units.

The inspections were aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of the MBG program.
