Jakarta, May 22 -- Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, confirms the Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) Programme for infants aged up to 6 months does not provide formula.

Hindayana explained BGN's policy refers to the principles of the World Health Organization (WHO) and national regulations to strive exclusive breastfeeding for infants.

"For infants aged up to 6 months, there is no infant formula intervention in the MBG programme. Therefore, the MBG does not provide any infant formula options at all," Hindayana remarked here on Friday.
