Kota Bogor, July 24 -- National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Sudaryono stressed that kitchens serving the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program will face closure if they fail to comply with government standards and requirements.

"We look into shortcomings and order them to be immediately addressed. If kitchens are unable to follow our instructions for improvements, we will shut them down," he remarked in Bogor City, West Java, on Friday.

Sudaryono pointed out that the program is currently running through roughly 27,000 kitchens in multiple regions across Indonesia, noting that most have been operating in compliance with BGN standards.
