Jakarta, Aug. 13 -- The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is strengthening coordination with local governments to oversee the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program and ensure its optimal rollout.

BGN Head Sudaryono noted that closer coordination with local authorities is crucial to the program's success, as regional governments play a direct role in supporting various aspects of its execution on the ground.

"We deeply appreciate the local leaders who have consistently supported the MBG program," he said during a meeting with the Home Affairs Minister and regional leaders in Jakarta on Thursday.
