Bengkayang, Kalbar, Aug. 26 -- The Bengkayang District Government in West Kalimantan launched a low-cost food drive and rice market operation under the Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) program in Sanggau Ledo, a border region, on Monday.
"This activity aims to maintain food price stability while ensuring rice availability for border communities at affordable prices," Bengkayang District Head Sebastianus Darwis said.
The initiative reflects the local government's concrete efforts to help residents cope with fluctuations in staple food prices, he said.
