Jakarta, Aug. 9 -- Indonesia's National Zakat Agency (Baznas) is strengthening its humanitarian cooperation with Jordan's King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to enhance the provision of medical services for Palestinians.

In a statement received here in Jakarta on Sunday, Idy Muzayyad, Baznas Head of Distribution, Utilization, and Empowerment, described Jordan's KHCF as a reliable partner, citing its transparent implementation and reporting of aid for Palestinians.

"We will maintain this good relationship and elevate it," Muzayyad said.

The stronger collaboration, he noted, is marked by Baznas' commitment to channel over Rp1.7 billion (around US$95,500) in humanitarian aid for Palestinian healthcare services.
