Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Oct. 1 -- Indonesia's search and rescue agency (Basarnas) said on Wednesday that teams had identified 15 victims trapped beneath the rubble of a collapsed prayer room at the Al Khoziny Islamic boarding school in East Java, with several still alive but unreachable.

Emi Freezer, head of Basarnas' Operations Guidance and Control, said eight of the victims were unresponsive while seven remained conscious.

"Of the seven, six are pinned near side columns that cannot be accessed directly or are in zone A2, which can only be reached through small gaps in the main column," Freezer told reporters.
