Manado, Aug. 26 -- Bank Indonesia (BI) has introduced the "Love, Proud, and Understand Rupiah" (CBP Rupiah) program to communities living along the Indonesia-Philippines border in North Sulawesi.

"We continue to carry out education and outreach so that people will increasingly love, take pride in, and understand the rupiah," said Head of BI's North Sulawesi Representative Office, Joko Supratikto, in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Tuesday.

Joko explained that through the 2025 Sovereign Rupiah Expedition (ERP) program, BI aims to ensure that people in border regions have the same level of understanding of the rupiah as those in urban areas.

"We deliver this education even to remote, outermost, and frontier regions," he added.
