Indonesia, July 15 -- Cooperatives Minister Budi Arie Setiadi has described the crackers produced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bangka Belitung Islands province as the best in the world due to their distinctive and unique flavor.

"I proudly campaign and declare that crackers from Bangka Belitung are the best in the world," he said while officially opening the 2025 KUKM Fest at the Governor's Office yard here on Tuesday.

He informed that crackers made by local SMEs in the province are delicious, savory, and of high quality, making them a potential export product from the region, nicknamed Serumpun Sebalai .
