Denpasar, Bali, March 6 -- Around 302 foreign nationals have been granted Emergency Stay Permits (ITKT) by Bali Immigration due to rising tensions in the Middle East.

Since Monday (March 2), the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office has issued 244 ITKTs, while the Denpasar Immigration Office has issued 58.

"We urge all foreign nationals in our areas to immediately process the necessary administrative documents in person," the Head of Denpasar Immigration, R. Haryo Sakti, said on Friday.

Applicants must provide an original passport, a flight cancellation letter from the airline, and proof of the canceled tickets.

He explained that the permit is valid for 30 days and includes an extension option depending on further developments.
