Denpasar, Bali, March 2 -- I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has canceled 15 international flights since Feb. 28 after airspace closures tied to escalating US-Israel and Iran tensions disrupted routes linking the resort island with key Middle Eastern hubs.

"As of Monday afternoon, a total of 15 international flights have been canceled," Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi, the airport's head of communication and legal affairs, said in a statement.

The cancellations comprise eight departures and seven arrivals over the past two days, underscoring how geopolitical risk is rippling through Asia-Pacific travel corridors reliant on Gulf transit points.
