Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) emphasized that Indonesia will continue to prioritize the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Southeast Asian region as the foundation of national diplomacy.

This statement sought to allay concerns about a possible decline in Indonesia's attention to the regional organization.
