Jakarta, Oct. 28 -- APEC senior officials reaffirmed their commitment to building a sustainable, interconnected future that embraces digital innovation and ensures broad-based growth at the 2025 Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) in Gyeongju, South Korea, on October 27-28.

"Under this year's theme, 'Building a Sustainable Tomorrow: Connect, Innovate, Prosper', we have made meaningful progress across various initiatives toward APEC's vision of an open, dynamic, resilient, and peaceful Asia-Pacific community," said Ambassador Yoon Seong-mee, Chair of the SOM.

According to an APEC press release on Monday, the meeting marked the final push before leaders and ministers gather later this week to finalize regional cooperation outcomes.
