Jakarta, May 19 -- Indonesia's animation industry has shown significant development, with the capacity of its talent and the quality of its works, considered to have reached globally competitive standards, according to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

"Today underlines that we currently possess the technical capacity, the quality of talent, and the creative power of the nation's young generation that have already reached globally competitive standards," Head of BRIN's Research Center for Society and Culture Aulia Hadi said here on Tuesday.

She explained the growth of the national animation industry over the past decade has shown an increasingly larger contribution to Indonesia's creative economy.
