Tangerang, Banten, Sept. 8 -- The Indonesian government said on Monday, that an estimated 341,000 passengers have been impacted by widespread flight disruptions caused by the ongoing eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau over the past three days.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono noted that the spreading volcanic ash has affected a total of 2,961 flights nationwide, encompassing 2,339 domestic routes and 622 international services.
