Jakarta, Oct. 2 -- South Korean Ambassador to Indonesia Yoon Soon-gu stated that Indonesia is a crucial partner for South Korea in defense and security.

"Indonesia is a very important partner for us in defense and security sectors. We have established strong defense and security cooperation with Indonesia," the ambassador said during the commemoration of the National Day and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Korea in Jakarta on Thursday evening.

According to him, defense cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea has grown significantly across various sectors.
