Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- President Prabowo Subianto said every villager in Indonesia will automatically become a member of the Red and White Village Cooperative, now established in 80,000 villages across the country.

In his closing remarks at the 6th National Conference of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in Jakarta on Monday, he said the cooperative enables citizens to access basic necessities at lower prices.

The cooperative can also absorb production from farmers, fishermen, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), he added.
