Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) confirmed that all victims' bodies from the collapsed Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School in Buduran, Sidoarjo District, have been recovered by a joint search and rescue (SAR) team.

BNPB Deputy for Emergency Response Budi Irawan said during an online press conference from Jakarta on Tuesday that a total of 63 bodies had been recovered from the site.

"All the bodies have been found. Of that number, 61 are intact and seven are in parts," Irawan told reporters at the emergency response post in the courtyard of the Islamic boarding school.

He explained that, based on preliminary identification results, all bodies are believed to have come from within the school complex.
