Jakarta, Jan. 5 -- Elementary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said Monday that teaching and learning activities in disaster-hit areas of Aceh are running as planned, marking a key step in the province's recovery after recent floods and landslides.
Mu'ti made the remarks while leading a ceremony at State Vocational High School SMKN 4 Kejuruan Muda in Aceh Tamiang, which symbolically marked the resumption of school activities following the disaster.
"Disasters shape us, pushing us to become stronger, more patient and more creative," Mu'ti said in a statement.
He described the first day back at school as a powerful moment that reflected students' resilience and determination to rise after hardship.
