Jakarta, March 18 -- Around 121,000 tickets for the Whoosh high-speed train have been sold for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday season, according to operator PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC).

General Manager Corporate Secretary of PT KCIC Eva Chairunisa noted that the sold tickets are for departures between March 13 and 30.

"As of now, around 121,000 tickets have been sold for departures between March 13 and 30," she told ANTARA at the KCIC Halim Station in East Jakarta on Wednesday.

Chairunisa also explained that ticket sales are expected to continue rising, as the booking period remains open to maximize services during the Eid holiday season.
