Jakarta, June 11 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry noted that 92 percent of knowledge workers in Indonesia have integrated generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology into their daily professional work.

"Based on the Work Trend Index 2024 published by Microsoft and LinkedIn, 92 percent of knowledge workers in Indonesia have used generative AI in their daily work," Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria remarked at the Garuda AI Impact Summit 2026 here on Thursday.

According to him, this high adoption rate positions Indonesia above the global average and indicates that the country has transitioned from a passive spectator into an active participant in the global technological revolution.
