1,931 education facilities resume classes after NTT quake
Jakarta, Sept. 5 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education reported that more than 1,900 education facilities in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) have resumed their classes after the August 15 earthquake.
Minister Abdul Mu'ti said educational activities were continuing, either through in-person classes held in makeshift classrooms or via distance learning.
"The progress of post-earthquake education facility recovery in NTT has shown positive results. Some 1,931 educational facilities serving 171,476 students have resumed their classes to date," Mu'ti stated here on Saturday.
