India, Sept. 8 -- A 54-year-old Manipuri musician, Chongtham Vikram Singh, died during treatment at Holy Family Hospital after he was allegedly assaulted following a dispute over shouting and nuisance outside his residence in southeast Delhi's Kilokari Village. Police have apprehended eight people, including a minor, in connection with the case.

According to police, Singh had objected to alleged shouting and nuisance outside his home before the confrontation escalated into a violent assault. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Holy Family Hospital, where he later died during treatment.
