India, July 3 -- Srinagar: Kashmir's enduring literary and spiritual legacy will take centre stage on July 12 as writers, scholars, journalists, spiritual leaders and public intellectuals from across India gather at Tagore Hall for a literary event dedicated to the life and philosophy of the 14th-century mystic poet Lal Ded.

The occasion will mark the release of author and journalist Dr Vaidehi Taman's latest book, Lal Ded - The Mother of Kashmir, an exploration of the saint-poet's life, teachings and continuing relevance in contemporary society.
